GRACE AND I – TRUE LOVE

Grace and I were meant for each other, and I truly believe that God reserved Grace for me from before the world began. It was true love. We met on February 23, 1983. I have to say, I don’t know how I survived most of my life without her.

Right from the very beginning of our relationship, I realized I couldn’t do anything good without Grace. As a matter of fact, it was Grace that saved me from going to hell. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Another wonderful thing about Grace is that God made up a song about her and dedicated it to me. I could tell that when I saw the first words of the song.

“Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.” And that wonderful Grace that God gave to me was a onetime Grace, there would never be any more of that wonderful Grace. However, God promised me another Grace when I need it, although it was a different kind of grace.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Everyone needs both of these wonderful gifts that God has for us.

FIRST:

We need God’s Free Gift of Eternal Life! Yes, it is FREE. We don’t have to earn it, and we certainly don’t deserve it. God is ready to give it to anyone who asks for it. He gave it to me, and trust me, if he gave that Free Gift to me he will give it to you.

Humble yourself and come to him. A beautiful song sings to you, “There is room at the cross for you.” Don’t wait until it is too late. Jesus Christ, the Lord came to this earth. He didn’t come to Save Presbyterians or Catholics or Lutherans, or Baptists or any denomination you belong to. He came to save sinners like you and me. (John 3:16-17)

He shed his precious blood on a cross at Calvary to wash away all our sins, and it is that precious blood that gets you into Heaven! It is paramount for your Salvation. 1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Some day when life is over on this earth, we don’t just go into a grave and, or outer darkness. The Creator of Heaven and Earth says that all the living and all the dead will come to a judgment. Some will go to the Judgment Seat of Christ. See

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

A great majority will go to the Great White Throne Judgment. Revelation 20:11-15 ‘And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Which group will you be in and which judgment will you be at? Are you 100% sure?

Where will your name be written? See what God told the Prophet, Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 17:13 “O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.” Some like to have their names on billboards, in the Newspapers on TV or on the Movie Marquee. Their names will be written in the earth.

Revelation 17:8 “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”

Others will have their name written in the “Lambs Book of Life.”

You should read the whole chapter. I will just put a few verses that will show you where I am going and where I want you to join me.

Revelation 21:1-4 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. What an awesome God.

Further down in the chapter, the author of the Bible, the Holy Spirit says through John in

Revelation 21:24-27 “And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”

I did not want this article to be this long. I just wanted you to meet Beautiful Wonderful Grace as I did.

Let me summarize this.
See how easy it is to be saved and go to Heaven instead of going to Hell.
Admit you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23)
Trust in Jesus Christ as the only way to Heaven. (John 14:6)
Trust in the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12; John 1:11-13)
Repent of your sins. (2 Peter 3:9)
Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, and be SAVED. (Romans 10:9-10; 13)
